Hello everyone, with the iOS 14.5 updates, Facebook has developed a solution to this problem with the difficulty of tracking cookie-based conversions. With the Facebook Conversion API, we can send the events we measure directly to Facebook Pixel via the server.
This is possible with a few data entries from the panel of Ideasoft, your e-commerce infrastructure provider.
Now let's move on to the installation of Facebook Conversion API with Ideasoft infrastructure.
First of all, we open the "Event Manager" from the Business Manager menu.
Then select the pixel to install and select the "Settings" tab.
In this section, we click the "Start" button under the Conversions API heading.
We come across the setup screen. By pressing the "Continue" button, we select the event types we want to send.
On the next screen, we select the parameters we want to be included in the events and continue.
In the "Review Installation" tab, we confirm the installation by collectively seeing the options we selected in the previous two stages.
Finally, in the "View Instructions" section, you can either send the instructions to your Web developer to complete the installation, or you can manually install it yourself with the option below. We will continue with the manual installation.
In order to continue the installation, we first create an access token on the relevant screen.
We will place this access token in the relevant area in our Ideasoft panel. To reach this section, we follow the Settings - SEO - Facebook path respectively.
At the same time, in this section, we paste and save our Facebook Pixel ID number in the relevant section. We continue the installation by going back to our Business Manager panel.
Using the payload helper, we can have it send a test POST to our Facebook Pixel.
With the event manager, we can test the sample events that we send to our server.
After seeing the sample events, we finish the installation and check our panel to verify the installation via the panel.
From the pixel overview screen, click on the "Manage Integrations" button.
We verify that the installation is complete by seeing the "Transformations API" title in the active integrations section.
At the same time, when we see the "Browser - Server" binary in the connection methods section, we verify that the data has been dropped.
We are at your side as Retina Dijital at the points where you have difficulties in installation. You can contact us to request assistance.
